Burrandool 1072-2021
'Dynasty 23rd'

2022 Australian Champion Ram

Sire - Burrandool 9080-2019. SOS - Burrandool 1369-2013

Won 1st place in the pairs class at every show in 2022 with 1084-2021. A very styish ram, great length and hinquater shape. Used in the 2023 ET Program. Similar type to Pomona 26-1994 with a double up of that family line on the dams side to bring back more strength and bone.

1072 won the Interbreed performance class at the Royal Melbourne Show, Tying with Dorset's and Suffolk's on structure points, but then winning the class with his scanning results.

1072 has a great presence, stands out quite easily in the paddock, beautiful topline and back leg extension which gives him superb balance.

1072's scanning results from Royal Melbourne Show are (15months age)

Weight (Kg) - 118

Fat Depth (mm) - 9

Muscle Depth (mm) - 50

Muscle Width (mm) - 106

Muscle Area (cm2) - 40.8

Burrandool 1084-2021ET
'Vantage Point'

1084 is a very unique bloodline, he carries 84.5% New Zealand Blood, mostly made up of the now dispersed Toropuke Stud. We used our last Pomona sired ewe in the ET program and crossed her with a NZ ram that had produced tremendously well for us, ewes from this ram have 10% higher number of lambs weaned.

We exhibited 1084 at 4 major shows in the pair class with 1072-2021, together the never lost that class. The real highlight is when the two teamed up with another ET ram in our team to win the Interbreed Ram Trifecta Championship at Royal Melbourne Show in 2022. The Hampshire breed had never won the award before.

Burrandool 1035-2021ET
'Bjarki'

1035 has been bred similar to the UK type; shorter in the hock and wider through the front shoulder which then carries a greater amount of muscle volume throughout the loin and especially hindquarter.

His dam has been very influential in the flock, we used her and her two daughters in the last ET program.

His sire is the first ram in this catalogue 1710-2017 (2018 Australian Champion)

This ram had maintained great eating quality data. We used him in our 2022 drop with his whole drop being retained.

He was shown a few times with his best win at Sheepvention claiming the reserve champion award, only being eclipsed by another one of our rams.
